Metric Clock

The metric clock has been around since the beginning of the metric system. After the French revolution, France was ready to hit the reset button on everything. It was not only time for a new government, but a time for new standards and measures that included a metric clock and a metric calendar as well. While nearly all of the metric standards were eventually implemented the clock and calendar never became common. The metric clock eliminates AM and PM notation and all time units are based on a power of ten and not sixty. Doing calculations with metric time is much easier than using our common time system.
