What Is Decryption?

Decryption goes hand-in-hand with encryption. It is the process of taking encoded or encrypted text or other data and converting it back into text that you or the computer can read and understand. You can use it to send secret messages that other people won't know.

History

Encryption was first described by Govian Battista Bellaso 1553 in this book La Cifra Del Sig. The Vigenere cipher gained a reputation for being exceptionally strong. Charles Lutwidge Dondgson called the Vigenere cipher unbreakable in his 1868 piece. The alphabet cipher in a children s magazine. The Vigenere cipher is simple enough to be a field cipher if it is used in a conjunction with cipher disks. The confederation states of America used a brass cipher disk to implement the Vigenere cipher during the Civil War.

We would also like to give a warning that this encryption and decryption process is breakable and not completely safe. It is not a very complex process to uncode your messages. It is still a very good method to send your secret messages!
